Job Description
Position Summary
The Senior Platform Integration Engineer is a contract individual contributor responsible for building and maintaining integration services, APIs, and shared libraries that connect MeridianLink products with each other and with external client systems. The role contributes to the development of a new enterprise integration platform while also working directly in existing product code to address the current integration backlog. The position requires strong experience across modern integration services, APIs, monolithic applications, and legacy .NET Framework codebases.
Responsibilities
Build and Deliver Integrations
Build production grade integration services, RESTful APIs, and shared libraries
Implement event driven and asynchronous integration flows
Develop resilient, observable solutions that recover predictably from failures
Contribute directly to integration logic within existing monolithic applications
Work across modern .NET services and legacy .NET Framework codebases
Debug across service boundaries and diagnose distributed integration failures
Follow API standards for versioning, contracts, and deprecation
Independently drive integration requirements and designs through development, testing, and deployment
Make practical trade offs between speed, cost, and correctness
Identify and communicate risks early
Own Your Work
Fully test development work before code review
Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests
Use AI assisted tools to build and expand test coverage
Experience with Playwright for acceptance and end to end testing is desired
Own work throughout the complete SDLC through Production
Resolve Production issues related to delivered solutions
Meet established quality and test coverage standards
Take full responsibility for the reliability and correctness of delivered work
Use AI Across the SDLC
Use modern AI coding harnesses such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or Pi
Understand AI agents as models paired with coding harnesses
Understand harness mechanics including memory, tool calls, and hooks
Apply AI tools effectively for coding, code reviews, test generation, and other SDLC activities
