Lead Software Engineer (UI Engineer)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex scientific user interfaces for the Orion platform
• Build and enhance interactive 3D visualization and modeling features for molecular exploration
• Collaborate with scientists, UX designers, and engineers to translate scientific requirements into scalable UI solutions
• Develop modern web applications using frameworks and component-based architectures
• Optimize performance for large-scale scientific data visualization and in-browser computation
• Work on collaboration features, data management systems, and next-generation scientific tools
• Implement unit testing, end-to-end testing, and participate in CI/CD pipelines
• Debug and resolve UI and application-level issues across distributed systems
• Contribute to modernization and continuous improvement of existing UI systems
