Kommerce Hub is building a comprehensive B2B ERP platform for retail and hospitality, combining Point of Sale (POS), e-commerce integrations, payments, inventory, and AI-driven capabilities.

Our platform is offline-first, cloud-native, and highly scalable, supporting real-time streaming, session recording, AI audit logs, and seamless multi-channel commerce.

We operate at the intersection of POS, payments, ERP, and AI, solving real-world problems for businesses handling live transactions at scale.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer / Lead Technology Manager who will own the technical architecture and system design of our POS and ERP platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:

• Architect end-to-end solutions
• Make key technology and design decisions
• Lead engineering standards and best practices
• Mentor engineers while still building critical components

You will work closely with Product, DevOps, and Business stakeholders to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Own the overall system architecture for POS, ERP, payments, and e-commerce integrations.
• Define frontend, backend, and cloud architecture patterns for scalability and reliability.
• Make decisions on tech stack, frameworks, data models, and integration strategies.
• Establish coding standards, design guidelines, and review processes.
• Mentor engineers and guide them through complex architectural problems.

Frontend Architecture & Development

• Architect and build cross-platform POS applications using React and React Native.
• Ensure seamless compatibility across iOS, Android, and Windows (react-native-windows).
• Design offline-first UI architectures for billing, checkout, and inventory workflows.
• Implement scalable state management using Redux / Zustand.

Backend & Platform Engineering

• Architect and develop Python-based backend services using FastAPI / Django.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas for orders, inventory, payments, audit logs, and multi-tenancy.
• Define API contracts (REST / GraphQL) used across POS, ERP, and integrations.
• Build secure, high-throughput services handling live transactions.

Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure

• Architect and deploy systems on AWS Kubernetes (EKS).
• Own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure scaling, monitoring, and reliability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / IaC).
• Ensure production-grade observability using Prometheus, Grafana, logging & tracing.

Integrations & Advanced Capabilities

• Lead integrations with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce).
• Architect payment workflows (Stripe, Square, payment gateways, reconciliation).
• Design and implement offline sync mechanisms (PowerSync, Realm).
• Guide implementation of advanced features:
• WebRTC live streaming
• Video recording & uploads
• On-device ML / OCR for AI audit logs

Security & Reliability

• Enforce security best practices (JWT, encryption, PCI-aware design).
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance for POS environments.
• Lead incident response and production troubleshooting when needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of full stack engineering experience with lead or architect responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in React & React Native (cross-platform architecture).
• Deep backend experience with Python (FastAPI/Django) and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience architecting and running systems on AWS Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong background in POS systems, payments, and offline-first architectures.
• Hands-on experience with e-commerce platform integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and multi-tenant SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, Docker, CI/CD.
• Ability to lead technically, not just manage.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead / Engineering Manager / Architect in startups.
• Exposure to B2B ERP, fintech, retail, or hospitality platforms.
• Experience with ML/OCR pipelines or AI-powered features.
• Open-source contributions or published technical work.
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-region deployments.
