Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong proficiency in
Selenium,
BDD frameworks, and
Java/.NET (preferably .NET). The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, along with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Test Automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
- Implement and maintain BDD methodologies (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Create, execute, and optimize automated test suites for web and API applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and identify areas for automation improvement.
- Work with version control systems (Git) for code maintenance and collaboration.
- Support database testing, API testing, and integration of automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports using test management tools.

Profile required
Required Experience & SkillsTechnical Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation with Selenium and BDD.
- Strong working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Java / .NET (.NET preferred).
- Expertise in BDD frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of OOPs concepts.
- Experience with JUnit and TestNG frameworks.
- Working knowledge of API testing and database testing.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Knowledge of Python is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent debugging skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
