Job Purpose: Executive - Slot Management is responsible for managing airport slot allocations, coordinating schedules with airlines, and optimizing the use of airside resources to ensure efficient flight operations. This role involves collaborating closely with airlines, air traffic control, and airport operations teams to maintain adherence to scheduling guidelines and optimize airport capacity utilization.

Responsibilities

Slot Allocation and Scheduling Management:

Manage the allocation of airport slots in accordance with IATA guidelines and seasonal demand, working to optimize runway and gate usage.

Coordinate with airlines on slot requests and adjustments, ensuring compliance with scheduling policies and operational constraints.

Capacity And Resource Optimization

Analyze airport capacity to make strategic slot allocation decisions that balance peak demand and available infrastructure.

Implement initiatives to optimize gate, stand, and runway utilization, ensuring efficient use of airport resources.

Regulatory Compliance And Reporting

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including IATA Worldwide Slot Guidelines (WSG) and other aviation authorities.

Prepare reports on slot utilization, performance metrics, and adherence to regulatory standards, submitting timely updates to management and regulatory bodies.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for airlines regarding slot management, addressing scheduling conflicts and negotiating adjustments.

Work with air traffic control, ground operations, and terminal teams to facilitate seamless coordination for flight arrivals and departures.

Slot Monitoring And Analysis

Monitor slot usage and identify trends, delays, or operational issues impacting scheduling efficiency.

Conduct regular slot performance analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased throughput.

Operational Resilience And Contingency Planning

Develop and implement contingency plans for slot reallocation during emergencies or operational disruptions.

Collaborate with airport operations to ensure readiness and adaptability to unforeseen changes in flight schedules.

Data Management And System Maintenance

Maintain accurate records of slot allocations, amendments, and historical data in slot management systems.

Utilize slot management software to monitor real-time slot usage and facilitate efficient decision-making.

Educational Qualifications:
