Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications and modules using ServiceNow core components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Pages, Script Includes, Macros, Workflows, and Catalog Items.
- Work extensively on IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) modules.
- Develop and manage integrations using Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and MID Server configurations.
- Perform major version upgrades, instance cloning, and manage post-clone and upgrade activities.
- Implement and maintain Event Management, Orchestration, and other automation capabilities.
- Follow ServiceNow best practices for coding, design, performance optimization, and platform security.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including BA, QA, DevOps, and platform owners.
- Support the SDLC processes with proper documentation, version control, and release management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers where necessary.
- Stay current with ServiceNow new features, releases, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, Jelly, AngularJS, and web service integrations.
- Proficient in modules including ITSM, ITAM, GRC, Event Management, and Orchestration.
- Good knowledge of ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and MID Server setup.
- Experience performing version upgrades, managing instance clones, and handling patching activities.
- Good understanding of ITIL concepts, service management processes, and RDBMS principles.
- ITIL Certification is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
