A Brief Overview
TheLeadSecurityData Analystis responsible forassistingtheSecurityorganization withdata identification, collection,analysis,and reporting of keyrisk and performanceindicators.This individualplaysa key role in providinginsightfor management to make informeddata-driven riskdecisions.TheLead Security Data Analyst will provide key information to management by using statistical tools to interpret data sets, and preparing reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions based on relevant findings.TheLead Security Data Analyst will alsoassistin the development and enhancement ofnew and recurring programreportingrequirements and deliverables.
What You Will Do
- Lead the development,monitoring, and managementofoutcome drivenkey risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Security Program
- Structure large data sets for analysis using Tableau, SQL,Excelor other reporting tools to find patterns and actionable insights, including analyzing and interpreting data toidentifyanomalies, trends, and opportunities for improvements
- Verifyintegrity and completeness ofdata used for analysis;including,follow-upon action plans and issuesfor KRI/KPI metrics as needed
- Partner with key stakeholders to continue toidentifymeaningful measuresand developplans for onboarding,enhancing, or descoping metrics
- Lead the development anddelivery of Security program data analytics and reporting requirements; including the development and delivery of recurring and ad hoc customizedmetricdashboards and reportsto senior management
- Supportsource system integrationinitiatives to increase automation for ongoing KRI/KPI metricsreporting
- Work withvariousanalytic toolsets to provide data-driven solutions and high-level insights to senior management
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or other related business discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.
License/Certification Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in Tableau and ServiceNow preferred
- Tableau Data Analyst, Security+, or CISSP preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 8+years experienceina data analytics and reporting role
