Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and developmentof scalable test automation frameworks for AWS, RESTful APIs.
  • Minimum 2 years of AWS experience
  • Automation-only role (no manual testing)
  • Strong expertise in Python
  • Handson experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and/or Playwright
  • Define and driveend-to-end test strategies, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
  • Mentor and guide a team of SDETs and QA engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
  • Own the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable feedback loops.
  • Exposure toperformance testing toolslikeLocust, Gatling, or k6.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and proactively address quality risks.
  • Champion the use of modern testing tools, techniques, and metrics to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in software testing and automation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong programming skills inPython.
  • Expertise inAPI testing toolssuch asRestAssured, Postman, Karate, or Pact.
  • Experience withtest frameworkslikePyTest , JUnit, TestNG.
  • Deep understanding ofAPI protocols,authentication mechanisms, andsecurity best practices.
  • Proven experience withCI/CD tools(e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience withcontainerization (Docker, Kubernetes)andAWS services
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in technical leadership or test lead role managing test teams or cross functional squads.
  • Proven track record in delivering quality for large-scale, cloud-native systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver to influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Passion for driving a quality mindset, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
  • Experience withcontract testing,service virtualization, andmocking frameworks.
  • Knowledge ofobservability tools(e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Background inmicroservices architectureandevent-driven systems.
  • Experience inAgile/Scrumenvironments and DevOps culture.
