Job Description
As the Lead - SAP BASIS Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our SAP Modernization - Delivery department. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and support our SAP system landscapes, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and availability. You will work closely with our team to implement and maintain SAP BASIS solutions, providing expert guidance and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support SAP system landscapes, including installations, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability, security, and stability of SAP environments through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP BASIS administrators, providing guidance and expertise.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to align SAP BASIS strategies with overall business goals.
- Implement best practices and industry standards for SAP BASIS administration, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP BASIS issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to our SAP landscape.
- Document and maintain comprehensive SAP BASIS documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and capacity planning to optimize SAP system performance.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical SAP BASIS issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with a proven track record of managing complex SAP landscapes.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP BASIS technologies, including SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, database management, and network infrastructure.
- Experience in SAP upgrade projects, including planning, execution, and post-upgrade support.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- Certifications in SAP BASIS administration or related fields are preferred.
- Experience with SAP HANA database administration is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and SAP Transport Management is desirable.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to SAP BASIS management.
