Job Description
As the Lead - SAP ABAP Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications across various modules. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient technical solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and develop SAP applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with functional teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Ensure the quality and performance of SAP applications through thorough testing and optimization.
- Provide timely and accurate estimates for development tasks, managing project timelines effectively.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support to the team and clients.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the team's development skills.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise and guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming and ABAP Web Dynpro.
- Experience in leading and managing SAP development teams, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent understanding of SAP modules and their integration, with the ability to design and develop cross-module solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in SAP development tools such as ABAP Workbench, ADT, and SAP GUI.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA is highly preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
