As the Lead - SAP ABAP APO, you will be responsible for driving the development, enhancements, and support of SAP APO-based supply chain planning solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in leading technical teams, ensuring smooth collaboration with functional consultants, and delivering high-quality SAP solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and develop SAP APO-based supply chain planning solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the timely delivery of SAP APO projects, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
- Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and implement best practices to maintain high code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP APO, providing timely support to the team.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP APO technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Document and maintain technical design documents, ensuring knowledge transfer and knowledge retention.
- Participate in client meetings, providing technical expertise and presenting solutions.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP APO.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex SAP APO projects.
- Expertise in SAP APO modules, including SNP, GATP, PP/DS, and other relevant components.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP APO.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, and experience with SAP UI5/Fiori development.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA database and its integration with SAP APO is an advantage.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- A proactive and self-driven approach, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
