Job Description
As the Lead - SAP ABAP ALE IDOC, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the technical direction and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP ABAP applications, focusing on ALE and IDOC interfaces.
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of SAP systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and implement them effectively.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP ABAP development.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with expertise in ALE and IDOC.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Strong programming skills in ABAP, including OOP concepts.
- Experience with SAP HANA database and SAP UI5/Fiori development is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in a leadership role is an added advantage.
