Job Description
As the Lead SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications. Your expertise in ABAP programming and experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments will be key in delivering high-quality solutions. You will lead a team, ensuring efficient and innovative development practices, and contribute to the overall success of the S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing guidance and support.
- Design and develop SAP ABAP applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Implement and integrate ALE IDOC processes, enhancing data exchange and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP ABAP issues, ensuring system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Document and maintain SAP ABAP code, ensuring knowledge transfer and system documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement.
- Provide timely and effective support for SAP ABAP-related queries and issues.
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards in SAP ABAP development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SAP ABAP development teams.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, and experience with ALE IDOC.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficiency in SAP development tools and technologies, including ABAP Workbench.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA database and its integration with ABAP.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and its key differences from SAP ECC.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
