We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP ABAP Consultant to join our dynamic S4 HANA Technical - Delivery team at Bristlecone India Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative SAP solutions, leveraging your expertise in ABAP development and SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments. As a leader, you will mentor and guide a talented team, ensuring high-quality deliveries and exceptional client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and develop efficient, scalable, and secure SAP ABAP solutions, adhering to best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions, including enhancements, upgrades, and support projects.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with SAP standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and innovations, and drive their adoption within the team.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and knowledge base articles.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong background in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA implementations.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Expertise in ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, ABAP Dictionary, and SAP UI5/Fiori development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrade, and support projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration concepts, and SAP Basis knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive and self-driven approach, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
