Job Description
Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced and talented SAP professional to lead our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. As the SAP ABAP Gateway Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing innovative backend integration solutions and OData services. Your expertise in ABAP, SAP Gateway, and Fiori integrations will be instrumental in driving technical excellence and mentoring a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and expertise.
- Design and develop robust SAP backend integration solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Create and manage OData services, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and support to resolve complex issues and bottlenecks.
- Document and maintain technical specifications and architecture for future reference.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to upskill team members.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on Gateway and OData services.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in mentoring and guiding development teams.
- Expertise in SAP Gateway, OData services, and Fiori integrations is a must.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming, including OOP concepts and best practices.
- Experience in working with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of SAP architecture and integration concepts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends.
