Job Description
Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our SAP-focused team in the S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. As the SAP ABAP Gateway Lead, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing SAP backend integrations and OData service initiatives. Your leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in guiding the team and delivering innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and expertise.
- Design and develop robust SAP backend integrations, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Create and manage OData services, utilizing your knowledge of SAP Gateway and Fiori integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
- Ensure code quality, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues.
- Document and maintain technical specifications and architecture for future reference.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team skills.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their SAP-related needs are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on Gateway and OData services.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers.
- Expertise in SAP Gateway, OData services, and Fiori integrations is essential.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its architecture is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or related SAP technologies are an advantage.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and staying updated with SAP advancements.
