Requirements

The Lead Salesforce Developer is responsible for delivering scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that address complex business requirements. This role translates business needs into optimal technical solutions by leveraging the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform and its products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.
  • Own and manage the complete development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, sprint planning, timeline management, and delivery oversight.
  • Provide technical leadership to the development team, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Design and develop custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations.
  • Build and maintain integrations with core banking systems and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and middleware technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Manage Salesforce environments, including sandbox configuration, deployments, releases, and performance optimization.
  • Oversee data modeling, workflows, automation processes, and access controls within Salesforce.
  • Ensure all implementations comply with banking regulations, governance policies, and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure business continuity.
  • Document technical designs, development processes, and configurations for maintainability and audit purposes.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce platform enhancements and recommend improvements to system capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 57 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, configuration, and security best practices.
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, ideally within banking or financial services environments.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in fast-paced delivery environments.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and branching/merging strategies for Salesforce deployments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or finance is preferred.
Mandatory Certifications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • At least one Salesforce Architect certification (e.g., Application Architect or System Architect).
