JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety and security strategies to safeguard the organization's personnel, assets, and information. This position requires a deep understanding of Telecom/ IT security practices along with a strong focus on physical safety and risk management.
Key Role Deliverables
Develop and articulate a holistic safety and security strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and IT infrastructure.
Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities related to both physical security and fire/electrical safety and devise strategies to mitigate them.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals responsible for various aspects of safety & security etc
Foster a collaborative and proactive team environment to ensure efficient execution of security operations.
Design and implement physical security measures to protect employees, visitors, and company premises.
Manage security protocols for access control, surveillance, and emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities across all areas of the organization.
Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to reduce the impact of potential incidents.
Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address both physical security incidents (e.g., theft, vandalism) .
Coordinate response efforts, collaborate with relevant stakeholders, and ensure effective communication during incidents.
Stay informed about relevant safety and security regulations, laws, and industry standards.
Ensure the organization's practices and policies align with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement security awareness programs to educate employees about best practices for safety, physical security, and cybersecurity.
Conduct regular training sessions to keep the workforce informed and vigilant.
Evaluate security practices of third-party vendors and partners to ensure they meet the organization's security standards.
Establish and maintain relationships with security-related service providers.
Prepare and manage the safety and security budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for effective risk management.
Well versed with all audit mechanism and process like ISO, TBEM etc
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Right Person (Qualification & Experience)
10-15 Yrs experience
Worked with reputed companies.
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Must understand market and product marketing
BE & MBA preferred
Candidate should be having exposure to ISO standard
