Role Overview
The Renewal Central Underwriter will be responsible for managing underwriting activities for renewal portfolios across all channels. The role involves risk assessment, NATCAT underwriting, referral validations, pricing support, and close coordination with Sales, Location Underwriters, and Operations to ensure smooth renewal processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwriting Revalidation: Review and validate underwriting decisions for referrals generated outside NATCAT scenarios.
- Renewal Pricing Support: Support pricing activities on renewal cases, including data analysis and technical premium justification when required.
- NATCAT Underwriting: Conduct Natural Catastrophe (NATCAT) underwriting for renewal cases and manage adhoc requests.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central liaison with Sales, Location Underwriters, and Operations teams to ensure timely renewal processing and booking.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2-5 Years of Experience UW + NM Ops Experience would be preferred.
- Good cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical aptitude and comfort with pricing models/tools.
- Ability to manage high-volume renewal portfolios within set TATs
