Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive architecture for cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
- Design scalable and maintainable solutions for Android and iOS platforms
- Architect integration with backend systems using REST APIs and event-driven architecture (Kafka)
- Lead cloud-native architecture and deployment on GCP
- Design and oversee implementation using container orchestration platforms (AKS/GKE)
- Establish best practices for performance, scalability, security, and code quality
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams for solution design
- Drive architectural reviews, design discussions, and technology roadmaps
- Ensure adherence to CI/CD, DevOps, and automation best practices
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software development with architecture experience
- Strong expertise in React Native and mobile application architecture
- Proven experience building and scaling apps for Android and iOS
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture
- Extensive experience with GCP deployment and cloud services
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (AKS/GKE)
- Deep understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems
- Experience with API design, security, and integration patterns
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift)
- Exposure to mIcroservices architecture
- Experience with Firebase, analytics, or mobile performance tools
- Knowledge of multi-region deployments and high availability systems
