As the Lead Product Manager - Technical, you will act as a business owner, driving both long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for commercialized products. You'll oversee the product's evolution, establish go-to-market strategies, optimize products and resources, implement continuous improvements throughout the product lifecycle, and manage ongoing care and maintenance.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Drive Product Enhancements: Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying key opportunity areas and contributing significantly to the Product roadmap. You'll prioritize work to deliver against critical areas of focus.
- Influence Business Outcomes: Leverage a deep understanding of Mastercard's business model and consider key financial and commercial factors to positively influence revenue delivery and cost efficiency.
- Optimize User Experience: Deploy test & learn experimentation to ensure the end-user and customer experience is continuously optimized.
- Navigate the Payments Ecosystem: Incorporate an understanding of the broader payments ecosystem (including regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, and technology environments) into ongoing product management activities.
- Make Informed Decisions: Utilize working knowledge of Mastercard business, systems, products, and customer requirements to make fact-based business and product decisions.
- Accountability for Delivery: Take full accountability for the delivery of key product enhancements.
- Oversee Development Lifecycle: Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and proactively identify any barriers or obstacles that could impact on-time and on-budget delivery. You'll communicate these situations and propose solutions to senior management.
- Monitor Product Performance: Leverage data & dashboards to quickly identify Product performance challenges, making recommendations on proposed action plans.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Participate actively in cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Program Management, Engineering, Research & Design) in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives.

Experiences :
We're looking for someone who brings:
- 9-15 years of overall career experience in Product Management.
- Experience on projects related to Automation is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of business operations.
- Proven experience contributing data-driven product ideas that were accepted for development and/or enhancement by senior leaders.
- Extensive experience working on product launches in multiple markets.
- Experience independently developing and managing budgets for multiple Mastercard projects and products.
- The ability to understand and clearly explain the business context and associated customer use cases.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and conciseness.
- A track record of improving team processes that accelerate product development, delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality.
