Responsibilities
- You will work closely with the founders and the engineering team.
- Lead various initiatives.
- Prototyping on Figma.
- Adding visual delights to UI via illustrations and animation via jitter.
- Organised thinking - first steps first - user insights, competitive analysis, and so on.
- Awareness of the problems across the platforms and can suggest solutions.
- Take data-driven decisions wherever needed.
- Collate user feedback from different mechanisms - survey forms/user calls.
- Asks the right questions, knows user data, and keeps different user segments in mind.
- Has worked on dark and light modes and the design system.
Requirements
- Ideally, 3 to 4 years of experience in both functional and beautiful designs.
- Solid product thinking (and previously worked in a product-based org).
- Has a strong design portfolio.
- Multidisciplinary thinking. Eg - motion design flow for better intros, using tools like jitter/rive/lottie.
- AI in workflow.
- Bonus - Worked on gamification/personalization flows.
- Has worked in a product-based startup for 3+ years.
- Enjoys solving complex product problems.
- Can weigh business outcome and balance speed vs. design perfection.
- Hunger to learn and grow a startup as a core team.
- Ownership mindset, who is also a strong individual contributor.
