The Role
We are looking for a high-caliber professional to lead procurement strategies and technical value propositions for our Customer Service Projects and Energy Automation portfolios. You will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain while serving as a decisive technical expert for our technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Leadership
- End-to-End Management: Plan and direct the procurement of materials and services through the entire value chain to satisfy financial, quality, and on-time delivery requirements.
- Strategy Implementation: Analyze, derive, and implement procurement strategies, manage complex supplier negotiations, and oversee the awarding of contracts.
- Logistics Control: Manage and control Supply Chain processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return) for continuous performance and cost improvement.
2. Early Involvement & Technical Sourcing
- Design-to-Cost: Actively drive cost reduction measures including Target Costing, Standardization, and Cost Optimization during early product development.
- Supplier Integration: Engage key suppliers early through innovation workshops and concept competitions to optimize component and project functions.
- Market Intelligence: Perform technology benchmarking and price trend monitoring across international supply chains to identify emerging technologies and new suppliers.
3. Pre-Sales & Technical Consultation
- Value Proposition: Evaluate customer strategic objectives to create technical pitches focused on Digitalization and Sustainability.
- Technical Prescription: Lead prescription actions for RTUs/FRTUs, Substation Automation Systems (SAS), and Microgrids across power utilities and industrial segments.
- Vendor Registration: Manage the complete homologation process for Protection & Automation products across utilities, data centers, and infrastructure customers.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 1020 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Substation Automation Systems.
- Technical Expertise: * Hands-on experience with communication protocols (IEC 61850, MODBUS, DNP3) and Cyber Security standards.
- Deep knowledge of Power system networks, MV Air/Gas insulated switchgear, and IEDs.
- Digital Skills: Strong analytical capability with experience in data interpretation and complex data structuring for strategic decision-making.
- Soft Skills: A self-starter with a consultative approach, strong result orientation, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across regions to maintain customer interactions and promote the automation portfolio
