Lead Performance Engineer

Proficient in identifying, generating and setting up of test data to support the tests and manage dynamically for daily regression test

Job Responsibilities (JR) : 6 8 Areas

Oversee and guide Performance planning and execution activities across all delivery tracks for large product(s) over multiple releases

Manage an overall team of 5-10 and vendor efforts to manage the overall automated testing in a fast-paced agile environment

Draw up Performance test strategies and plans; Automate component, System Integration test cases with data-driven approach

Identifying, generating, and setting up of Performance test data to support the tests and manage dynamically for regression tests

Act as an effective interface between the development, testing teams and management

Actionable (4-6)

• Drive Performance test planning and test data generation and execution Build and manage a strong Performance and production readiness testing team Report against KPIs and execution status

Proficient in identifying, generating and setting up of test data to support the tests and manage dynamically for daily regression test

Total yrs of Experience:

• 4-15 years overall testing experience with Performance testing in Mobile Application, Web UI, APIs, Batch building B26, with at least 2-3 year of recent mobile testing experience

Technical Skills

Deep Understanding and Hands-on experience testing of non-functional requirements in one or more of these areas: Usability, Device Compatibility, Localization, Accessibility,

• Technically hands on experience with performance test tools like appium, Jmeter, loadrunner, neoload, monitoring tools like dynatrace/appdynamics, CI-CT pipeline tools -Jenkins, version control (GiT), test management (zephyr/Jira) tools
• Experience in Mobile Native app, API, Web and Batch performance testing and design framework from scratch
• Experience with Google or similar cloub based infrastructure, visualization and VMWare platform
• working experience of DNS, web, application server, messaging queues and No-SQL DB and SQL.
• Hands-on experience working with Docker, Openshift/Kubernetes, NoSQL, DB, Restful Services, JSON, APIs
• Expert to perform Test design, code profiling, tuning, sizing, execution and analysis
• strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis with solving skills
• experience with monitoring and analysing server and client performance counter
• knowledge with different network protocols/layers, tuning parameters for system/applications and code profiling
• fluent in linux - system/processes monitoriing and programming (perl/Ksh/Bash)
• Hands on expertise in Device Farm i.e. BrowserStack HeadSpin
• Deep understanding of software testing methods
• Good understanding of large and complex solutions architecture
• A self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and drives standards, tooling, and continuous improvement within the team
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise way to the team as well as Management
