As a Lead Performance Engineer, you will be a part of the Organization Engineering team that is building high quality enterprise class software for the retail industry. 

Job requirements: 

• Ability to program with one OO programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++ 

• Good knowledge on any one of the scripting languages such as Shell, Python 

• Good understanding of one Database either RDBMS or NoSql 

• Good Knowledge of Performance Engineering, Testing and Performance results analysis  

• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks 

Essential Skills & Qualifications: 

• Perform load tests to validate system performance and stability. 

• Analyze test results and work with Developers and Engineers to perform bug fixes. 

• Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability. 

• Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions. 

• Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements. 

• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements. 

• Generate periodic performance reports for management review. 

Desirable Skills: 

• 6 to 10 years of Performance Engineering, preferably in a Software product company. And atleast 2 to 3 + years of experience as a Lead 

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering / Computer Applications 

• Strong interpersonal communications skills. 

• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team. 

• Has familiarity with the retail industry domain. 

• Demonstrates attention to detail. 

• Is self-motivated and takes ownership of tasks and executes. 

Certifications: 

Having some or all the following certifications will be an added advantage for Lead Performance Engineer role at Organization.    

•  Certified Tester Performance Testing (CT-PT)
