Job Description

Role Purpose

Drive end-to-end for critical payment applications (NEFT, RTGS, UPI, IMPS, OBPM), ensuring system stability, rapid issue resolution, and seamless transaction processing. Provide strategic oversight, lead the support team, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high availability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the support team; act as escalation point for critical issues.
  • Coordinate with business, technical teams, and vendors for resolution and smooth transaction settlement.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting using Oracle/SQL, Unix, and IBM-MQ.
  • Oversee deployments, sanity checks, and ensure compliance with banking standards.
  • Drive process improvements and automation for efficiency.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Payment Application Support; 2+ years in a lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle/SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM-MQ, and payment systems.
  • Experience with NEFT, RTGS, UPI, IMPS workflows; Indian banking domain preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
