Tier-2 Technical Support

Provide

advanced (Tier-2) support to NOC for chronic, recurring, and critical

transmission issues.

Lead

complex troubleshooting and stabilization activities across DWDM, OTN, and

subsea systems.

  • Network Audits & Risk

Management

Conduct

periodic spare audits of the entire transport network and recommend procurement

requirements.

Perform

EOL and EOS assessments for all network elements with associated risk analysis

and mitigation plans.



  • Repair and Return Management:

Ensure

timely initiation of RMAs, track all logistics, and coordinate with relevant

stakeholders for on-time delivery of equipment

  • Planned Event Governance

Manage

specially assigned, high-criticality Planned Events, ensuring minimal service

impact and adherence to operational standards.

  • Incident Reporting & Service

Improvement

Prepare

detailed Incident Reports, RFOs, and RCAs for critical transmission events.

Develop

and release Service Improvement Plans (SIP) where applicable to prevent

recurrence.

  • Vendor & Supplier

Performance Management

Perform

periodic performance reviews of suppliers and vendors.

Provide

structured feedback and drive improvement initiatives to enhance quality and

service delivery.

  • Quality & Capability

Development

Support

network quality-improvement projects across the transport domain.

Deliver

technical training sessions to upskill NOC.

  • Subsea Restoration Support

Lead

in-system or external restoration using available resources for during

cable emergencies.



  • Service hand over verification

and Maintain updated outage matrix.

  • User access management and

ensuring availability of the Network Management System
