Lead Murex MxTest Consultant - (Market Risk fundamentals)

Project Description:

We've been engaged by a large APAC financial institution to provide resources for a range of Murex projects.

Joining this program you will have the benefit of working with an established team working directly with onsite staff, fully involved in the project initiation through to project implementation.

Responsibilities:

Define the Murex test strategy and create detailed test cases for the squad's deliverables

Execute and automate test cases using the MxTest platform

Analyze Murex test run outputs to identify, triage, and resolve issues

Collaborate with ST, SIT, and UAT teams, including business stakeholders, to ensure end-to-end test coverage

Take ownership of assigned tasks from day one with minimal handholding

Work proactively in a fast-paced and agile environment

Apply FX and Commodities market knowledge during testing activities

Validate Market Risk scenarios, including Value at Risk

Mandatory Skills Description:

8+ years of experience in testing as a Lead/ Test Manager

Hands-on MxTest tooling and automation experience is required

Strong experience in MxTtest (or Onyx), including implementation and execution of automated test suites

Proven Murex exposure with full front-to-back testing

Experience in FX and Commodities markets

Knowledge of Market Risk fundamentals, including Value at Risk

Basic SQL knowledge

Jenkins pipeline experience using Groovy

Unix shell scripting knowledge

Strong background in software testing methodologies and technical business analysis

Ability to start independently and manage responsibilities without close supervision

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience working in Agile teams and applying Agile testing practices

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

Murex performance testing

DevOps exposure on Murex (Git, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.)

Batch processing testing using Control-M

Exposure to regulatory risk initiatives such as FRTB

Experience with additional Murex modules or tools
