Job Purpose: This role is responsible for performing comprehensive on-field condition-based monitoring of equipment performance in areas such as CHP and Boiler, utilizing techniques like thermography and ferrography to help identify trends and potential issues, and support in providing actionable recommendations. Additionally, this role also manages the annual budget for condition monitoring materials and services, ensuring procurement processes are followed and expenditures remain within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

Lead Condition Based Monitoring Field Measurement & Analysis Support

Equipment Analysis And Data Collection

Conduct regular visits to equipment areas as per the monthly schedule to perform gather data for analysis.

Perform vibration and thermography analysis, and collect data for changeover and standby equipment and execute lube oil sampling and ferrography in accordance with established procedures.

Provide support for detailed analysis and observations from physical field monitoring activities.

Gather field measurement data to detect patterns, trends, and early signs of equipment issues using statistical and analytical tools.

Prepare detailed reports on condition-based monitoring findings, including analysis results and actionable recommendations.

System Diagnostics And Balancing

Analyse spectrum, waveforms and other diagnostic data to assess the condition of equipment.

Carry out balancing of systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Recommend corrective actions based on the analysis to prevent equipment failure and monitor actionable points for compliance.

Perform document findings and maintain accurate records for historical data analysis.

Budget Management

Prepare the annual budget for materials and services related to condition monitoring.

Raise service Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and prepare Service Entry Sheets (SES) for procurement processes.

Monitor and control expenditures to ensure budget compliance.

Business Sustainability

Implement and follow IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department to ensure business continuity.

Enforce safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment, reducing the risk of accidents.

Conduct regular training sessions to promote a culture of safety and preparedness.

Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.

Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Digitization And Automation

Spearhead digitization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.

Deploy automation solutions in line with organizational objectives.

Continuously review and upgrade processes and systems, integrating new technologies.

Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the adoption of cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

BE/B.Tech or related field with certification of ASNT Level 2.

Work Experience (Range Of Years)

6+ years of experience in condition monitoring and equipment analysis.

Preferred Industry

Experience in the power generation, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors.
