We invite you to bring your passion, curiosity, positive energy, and technical expertise to develop sustainable solutions for industry projects worldwide. To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong technical background in industry engineering (Process, Chemical, Petrochemical, etc.), extensive experience as a Mechanical specialist, and the ability to lead project teams across Ramboll's offices and geographies within the Mechanical discipline.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Understand client needs and contract requirements for project execution.
- Independently manage multiple projects with minimal support as part of Global Engineering.
- Developing mechanical design packages across various engineering phases
- Responsible for delivering complete Mechanical packages (Static, Rotating & Packages) equipment selection, sizing and calculations, datasheets, specifications, RFQs, Requisitions, TBEs, Technical recommendations, VDR, Optional studies, etc.,
- Interface with OEMs and review vendor drawings and documentation.
- Interface with other disciplines and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Liaise with external stakeholders like process licensors, OEMs, clients, and certification agencies.
- Lead and guide the team to achieve project objectives.
- Support team development, estimates, and proposals, ensuring quality of work.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering from reputed university or college
- 18+ years of global multidiscipline engineering & design experience in chemical / process plants
- Good understanding and knowledge of industrial engineering phases
- Sound knowledge of various process equipment such as reactors, agitated vessels, Hydrocrackers, hydrotreaters, Fired heaters, Filtration systems, Dryers, Evaporators, Chillers, Cooling Towers, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and storage tanks.
- Proven ability in delivering complete Mechanical packages as lead including datasheets, technical specifications, requisitions, bid evaluations, and coordinating with OEMs/vendors.
- Expertise in early engineering phases (FEL 0 to 3): Feasibility, Concept, FEED, debottlenecking, facility augmentation, and troubleshooting
- Familiar with international codes and standards like ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and environmental and statutory regulations in Europe
- Hands-on experience with PVElite and tank calculation software, 3D model review software
- Skills in aiding client with solutions review and decision making
- Good knowledge of process equipment suppliers (OEMs), preferably in Europe.
- Having experience in plant operations, trouble shooting, facility improvement, debottlenecking will be a plus. Experience in Metals shall be a plus
- Experience in Decarbonization, Sustainable initiatives, Life extension is preferred
