About the Role:
As a Lead Junior Associate in the F&A Operate: Record to Report team, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record to Report (R2R) Process Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end R2R process, including journal entries, ledger management, and month-end close activities.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and internal controls.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing support and training as needed.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and external stakeholders to streamline processes.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in the Record to Report process or finance operations.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring or guiding junior associates.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
