What does a successful Java Developer do at Fiserv

Responsibilities:

- Taking up the functional and technical design with customers independently.

- Liaising with internal teams for discussions on design and production issues.

- Contributing to process and technical automations.

- Preparing functional and technical design documents

- Completing the build (coding and unit testing) for business requirements as per the design and completing the SIT and UAT movement.

- Providing SIT support, UAT support, and implementation support for assigned projects

- Guiding the team to complete assigned tasks as agreed with the customer

- Working on assigned production incidents and resolving them within the assigned timelines

Required knowledge:

- Good working knowledge of the payments domain, especially on disputes and chargeback functionality

- Strong technical skills in Java/Oracle/Distributed Platform technology, including Java 1.8, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Hibernate, REST, LDAP, AM5

- UI technologies: HTML, CSS, Angular JS, JavaScript

- Basic working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
