Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, compile, and analyze data from internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain databases, data collection systems, and analytics frameworks to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.
  • Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Create dashboards, charts, presentations, and reports to present analysis for internal/external teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify business requirements for reporting purposes, trend analysis and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Generate and automate regular and ad hoc reports to support business needs from different sources of data input.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any data or reporting issues for MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for data management and analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power Point, SQL, Power BI, Python.
  • Strong understanding of database design, management, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical results to various stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security.
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Fresh Service)

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with cloud data platforms or big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) software.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
