About The Role

As a Lead International Sales (US Markets), you will be responsible for shaping and executing the international sales strategy for the US markets. You will play a key role in market development, team leadership and client engagement, ensuring the alignment of internal teams and external partners for successful execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership and market development
  • Design and implement the international sales strategy for the US and UK markets, aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop tailored go-to-market (GTM) plans based on customer behaviour and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define market-entry and expansion strategies
  • Set ambitious team targets and develop a roadmap to surpass them
  • Team leadership and performance management
  • Lead, manage, and expand the international sales team with clear roles, responsibilities and performance metrics
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback and development plans to strengthen team capability
  • Create a high-performance culture driven by ownership, accountability and collaboration
  • Inspire and align the team around strategic goals and customer-centric values
  • Partner engagement and ecosystem development
  • Guide domestic channel partners to generate and convert leads from international markets
  • Onboard and mentor new channel partners, ensuring strong relationships and enhanced outreach
  • Align internal teams with external partners for cohesive execution and consistent performance
  • Client engagement and market positioning
  • Oversee high-value international client interactions, including site visits and the closure process
  • Ensure the team effectively communicates product value, differentiation and compliance with international standards
  • Build long-term client relationships that drive sustained revenue and referrals
  • Results ownership and execution excellence
  • Own the responsibility of achieving international sales targets and driving profitability from the US and UK markets
  • Monitor key performance metrics, track lead conversion and refine strategies for continuous improvement
  • Use data insights to optimise team and market performance
  • Represent the company at international exhibitions, roadshows and client forums
  • MBA in Sales & Marketing

Experience

  • 5-10 years in international sales, with at least 35 years in a leadership role

Skills

  • Proven success in delivering sales results in developed markets, preferably the US
  • Strong strategic acumen, with the ability to transform market insights into actionable plans
  • Inspirational leader with the ability to guide teams through ambiguity and change
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in partner/channel ecosystem development and cross-functional collaboration
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
