Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Interior Designer to lead our commercial office interior design team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of interior design, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering innovative and high-quality design solutions for corporate spaces.

As the Lead Interior Designer, you will shape the creative vision, manage the design process, and ensure the successful execution of projects that exceed client expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Define and drive the creative vision and design strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with client goals and market trends.
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Client Collaboration
  • Partner with clients to understand their business needs, brand identity, and spatial requirements.
  • Present design concepts, proposals, and detailed plans with clarity and confidence.
  • Create and maintain seamless client communication to ensure all key details are relayed to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Design Excellence
  • Oversee the development of innovative and functional design concepts tailored to commercial office environments.
  • Ensure all design outputs, including layouts, elevations, and 3D renderings, meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
  • Project Oversight
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure designs are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including project managers, contractors, and procurement teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain regular reporting and progress updates, including site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related challenges.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market rates of products and materials used for interior fit-outs.
  • Trendsetting and Innovation
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices.
  • Advocate for innovative solutions and materials that enhance functionality and aesthetics.
  • Operational Management
  • Develop and implement design standards, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.

Key Skills Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial interior design.
  • Extensive experience in commercial office design, including large-scale corporate projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as:
    • AutoCAD
    • SketchUp (Must Have)
    • V-Ray
    • 3ds Max (Good to Have)
  • In-depth knowledge of MEPF, building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
  • Exceptional visual and spatial design skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and functional office interiors.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and control budgets.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials is a plus.
