Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Instrument Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems and will lead a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new instrumentation systems.
- Provide technical training and support to junior technicians and staff.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in the system.
- Participate in project planning and execution as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems.
- Proficient in the use of calibration and diagnostic tools for instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of process control systems and industrial automation.
- Experience with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
