Role Summary
The Lead Instructor Android App Development using Generative AI is responsible for delivering and mentoring students through a structured, industry-aligned internship program. The role involves full-time instructional delivery, hands-on mentoring, and ownership of student outcomes.
Success in this role is measured by students building production-quality Android applications, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, and completing the internship as industry-ready developers.

Responsibilities
- Deliver full-time, instructor-led sessions on Android App Development using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and GenAI-enabled workflows.
- Mentor interns through hands-on application development, debugging, and project execution.
- Review code and resolve technical doubts, ensuring industry-standard practices and quality outcomes.
- Guide learners using Google Skills Platform, Google Codelabs, and relevant developer tools.
- Track student progress, provide structured feedback, and drive internship completion outcomes.
QualificationsSkills
- Strong expertise in Android application development, including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, APIs, and debugging.
- Proven ability to teach, mentor, and engage learners through live sessions and code walkthroughs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 37 years of relevant experience in Android application development.
- Prior experience as a technical instructor, mentor, trainer, or technical lead is preferred.
- Exposure to Generative AI or AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.
