About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
- Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
- Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
- Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
- Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with customer and vendor.
- Drive technology transformation initiative end to end from solution identification to implementation
- Responsible for leading large project technology solution implementation end to end
- Collaborating with Business, architecture, platform group to define target state architecture
- Drive detailed technical design and perform design review
- Partners with Product managers to deliver enhancements to the platform
- Provides hands-on technology leadership
- Challenge status quo and be a change agent to drive implementation of technology solution.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

- 10+ years of Java experience
- 10+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders
- 7+ years of secure file transmission protocols experience
- 7+ years of UNIX experience
- 5+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
- 5+ years of Linux experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 5+ years of relational database experience
- 5+ years of web applications experience
- Knowledge and experience of web application: development
- Knowledge and experience of UI (User Interface)
- Web applications experience
- API programming experience with Perl, XML, REST or JSON
- Red Hat Engineer Certification
- Experience designing or developing automated solutions to business problems
- 5+ years of experience working within an application development environment
- 3+ years of risk and threat management experience
- 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- Ability to dissect technical problems, analyze data, and recommend potential solutions.
- 7 + years of web security tools experience
