About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
  • Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
  • Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
  • Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
  • Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
  • Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
  • Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
  • Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with customer and vendor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Management and Observability Engineer who can do product engineering on Network Management tools & application.
  • Should have experience on one of the below tools:- Broadcom DX NetOps, DX Virtual Network Assurance, Traffic Analysis Tools like Apcon, Netscout, Arista DMF, Arista Cloud Vision Portal, Cisco Nexus Dashboard, HPNA Applications
  • 5+ years Windows or Linux operating systems administration
  • 5+ years of working experience on any of the network management tools like performance/fault or configuration management tools.
  • 3+ years of shell/command-line experience or support of Python, or other development/scripting language
  • Working knowledge on Big Data solutions like Elastic Search, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, Splunk etc.
  • 2+ year of Agile Delivery experience
  • CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge with 7+ years of network domain knowledge on all areas including network designing, troubleshooting network issues in large scale enterprises with vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, F5 etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with configuration management and automations on Network devices, Telemetry data, Data streaming, traffic analysis
  • Ability to understand customer requirements, analyze them, and deliver an appropriate implementation through our enterprise network monitoring and management solutions
  • Great communication (written and oral), presentation development, quick learning, self-initiated
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint, Teams/Skype and other chat and collaboration applications
  • 2+ years of applied workflow automation development
  • 5+ years of Linux administration
  • 5+ years experience with Virtual Machine hosted deployments
  • Experience with network automation, visualization, and diagramming applications
  • Experience in integration of applications and application data
  • Working knowledge of lifecycle management, including implementation, maintenance, patching, health checks, application capacity planning, and decommissioning
  • Experience in a large corporation/enterprise environment with 10's of 1000's of devices
  • Good understanding of management process frameworks, such as ITIL
