As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, youapply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. The Connectivity Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of network and connectivity projects globally. This role partners with internal business stakeholders, service delivery teams and external telecom providers to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective deployment of network solutions that meet business requirements and engineering standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
- Hand on experience with proven project or service delivery management background, preferably within a global financial or regulated enterprise environment.
- Deep knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies (Layers 0-3), including dark fiber, DWDM, Ethernet, IP-VPN, DIA, broadband, cellular and satellite connectivity.
- Experience working with telecom service providers and managed service providers, including contract and SLA oversight.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across business and technical domains.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent project across geographies.
