Responsibilities

Application Design

• Ensure adherence to software development processes and company coding standards
• Collaborate closely with system architects to design scalable, robust solutions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Address non-functional requirements such as system performance, capacity, and failure recovery through proper design and testing
• Work closely with product managers and business analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, mission-critical systems using the Microsoft technology stack
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues across application tiers
• Work independently and take ownership of certain modules while also contributing effectively to large team initiatives
• Guide and support junior team members, promoting best practices in design and development

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• C#, .NET 6+, ASP.NET Framework 4.8
• SQL Server and data access frameworks like Entity Framework, ADO.NET
• RESTful APIs / WebAPI
• Windows Services
• Web front-end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management
• AWS development experience is a plus
• Ability to review, debug, and diagnose code across all layers of the application stack
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams
