Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategic HR Partnership:
- Partner with Sales leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Translate business needs into effective people plans (manpower planning, capability building, succession).
- Act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
2) Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely hiring of sales roles
- Support manpower planning and workforce optimization for sales teams.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and early engagement of new sales hires.
3) Performance Management & Rewards:
- Work Closely with Talent Management team to drive performance management processes for Sales teams
- Partner with leadership on incentive plans, variable pay structures, and sales reward programs.
- Coach managers on managing low performance and high-potential talent.
4) Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Drive engagement initiatives for frontline and corporate sales teams.
- Address attrition challenges and build retention strategies.
- Strengthen leadership capability and people management practices.
5) Learning & Capability Building:
- Partner with L&D team to identify skill gaps in sales teams and coordinate learning interventions.
- Support leadership development programs for Sales Managers, RSMs and key sales talent
- Promote continuous learning and productivity improvement.
6) Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Handle employee relations issues for sales workforce (grievances, disciplinary actions, exits)
- Ensure adherence to company policies and HR governance across all sales locations.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
7) HR Governance & Process Excellence:
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, processes, and SOPs across sales regions.
- Collaborate with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Rewards, etc.) to implement function-specific initiatives.
- Drive adoption of HR systems, analytics, and digital HR tools to enhance HR service delivery.
8) HR Analytics & Insights
- Track HR metrics (attrition, hiring TAT, productivity, engagement scores).
- Provide data driven insights to leadership to support decision making.
- Support audits and ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
This role will be reporting to GM- HR (Corporate and Sales)
Qualification: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification from tier 1 or tier 2 institutes.
Experience: 10 12 years, working as HRBP for Sales / Revenue / Business teams. Exposure to FMCG, Pharma, Retail, Banking or Telecom organizations is preferred.
