About this Role:

This role is part of the Design team within the Acharya Prashant (AP) Books team. The Design team is a creative engine that supports our publishing, marketing, and distribution initiatives through high-quality, scalable creative solutions.

As a Lead Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for setting the visual north star for the design team aligned with the Foundation's philosophical integrity and branding objectives.. You will lead a high-performing team of designers to translate ancient wisdom into a modern, world-class aesthetic that resonates with everyone.

What You Will Do:

  • Design Direction: Set the overarching visual identity and design language for Acharya Prashant Books.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and manage a team of designers. You will conduct creative reviews, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and inspire the team to deliver the best work.
  • Innovation & R&D: Stay at the forefront of design technology (AI-assisted design, advanced print finishes, digital interactivity)
  • Brand Stewardship: Act as the final gatekeeper for quality. You will ensure that every asset, from a 500-page bestseller to a high-traffic Instagram carousel—is flawless and aligned with the Foundation's essence.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with editorial and marketing leaders to align creative output with business growth and distribution goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Graphics and Graphic Design with expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Graphics, Graphic Design, and Illustrations
  • Experience in Branding and creating cohesive visual identities
  • Strong knowledge of Typography and effective visual communication
  • Proficient with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and strong creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Prior experience in designing for social media and digital platforms is a plus
  • Experience in managing and leading graphic design projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field is desirable
