The Senior Graphic Designer is a highly experienced and skilled professional responsible for leading and driving the creative development of in-store signage and point of purchase materials. This role involves a deep understanding of design principles, project management, and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results.

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will work autonomously, overseeing complex projects and collaborating with internal team members and external brand vendors. This role will leverage their extensive experience to create innovative and impactful graphics that align with Lowe's visual standard guide. Additionally, this role will take on substantial project management responsibilities, including client interaction and ensuring top-quality, on-time project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of store graphics and visual merchandising materials, ensuring they exceed brand architecture standards and are delivered on time.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the Store Environment Team and Display Management Team to maintain precision and accuracy in design.
  • Prioritize customer-centric design solutions, meeting and exceeding internal client expectations.
  • Independently manage all aspects of complex projects, emphasizing quality, on-time delivery, and postmortem analysis.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving Lowe's Visual Standards Guidelines, providing expert recommendations for signage revisions.

Years Of Experience

6-10 years of work experience in graphic design, retail space art/signage, or equivalent.

3-4 year degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, Commercial Art or equivalent

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Mastery of Apple's MAC-based applications: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Exceptional creative and conceptual design skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Advanced project management abilities, including client engagement and strategic thinking.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects independently..

Secondary Skills (desired)

Extensive experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of visual merchandising, planogramming, and space management.
