About the Role
We are looking for a results-oriented Lead Generation & Business Development Executive who can own the front end of the sales funnel in a fully remote environment.
This role requires a mix of strategic prospecting, strong communication, relationship-building, and consistent follow-through. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, initiating meaningful conversations, qualifying opportunities, and converting them into revenue or sales-qualified leads.
A key expectation in this role is comfort with AI-powered tools and a strong attitude towards continuous learning and improvement. You should be curious, adaptable, and excited about using AI to work smarter, faster, and more effectively in sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify, research, and build a pipeline of potential clients aligned with the company's target audience
- Conduct outbound lead generation using:
- LinkedIn outreach
- Email campaigns
- Cold calling (where applicable)
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria
- Maintain a consistent and healthy flow of high-quality prospects
Business Development & Sales
- Initiate conversations with prospects and understand their business needs
- Present and pitch the company's products or services confidently
- Schedule, conduct, and follow up on discovery and sales calls
- Close deals independently or hand over sales-qualified leads to senior team members, as per the sales process
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within defined guidelines
AI-Enabled Sales & Continuous Learning
- Use AI tools to enhance prospect research, lead qualification, and outreach personalisation
- Leverage AI for drafting emails, follow-ups, call summaries, and CRM updates
- Experiment with AI-driven workflows to improve productivity and conversion rates
- Stay updated with emerging AI tools and trends relevant to sales and business development
- Proactively suggest process improvements using automation and AI insights
CRM, Reporting & Process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and interactions in the CRM
- Track lead status, conversion metrics, and follow-up activities
- Share weekly performance reports and insights with the team
- Ensure strong pipeline visibility and data accuracy at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or business development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and revenue targets
- Hands-on experience with:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Email outreach tools
- CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
- Good working knowledge of AI tools used in sales and marketing
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup
- Strong follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
- Growth-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt
Good to Have
- Experience in B2B services, agency, SaaS, consulting, or technology-led businesses
- Prior experience working with metro-city or international clients
- Hands-on exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI-powered CRM features
- Experience creating simple AI-assisted workflows, templates, or automations
