Job Description

Lead the adoption and implementation of BDD practices in collaboration with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
Develop and maintain BDD automated test scripts using tools like Cucumber, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive and robust regression testing suite to ensure the stability of new features and updates.
Conduct exploratory and manual testing to uncover potential issues and validate system behavior.
Design, implement, and execute API testing strategies using tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and collaborate
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, collaborating with the development team to prioritize and resolve them.
Conduct performance testing to ensure the application meets scalability and responsiveness requirements.
Proactively contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on BDD, regression testing, and API testing.
Mandatory Skills7+ years of experience writing Selenium automation scripts in Java for web applications
7+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience.
Bachelors degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required, advanced degree.
Years of proven experience as a QA Engineer with expertise in BDD, regression testing, API testing, and Sauce Labs integration.
Proficient in BDD tools and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
Solid experience with automated testing tools for React applications (e.g., Selenium).
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
Familiarity with Sauce Labs or similar cloud-based testing platforms.
Strong understanding of React components and architecture.
Proven experience in building and maintaining regression testing suites.
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners.
Good to Have Skills Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools.
