Lead Fullstack Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design robust, scalable web architecture to handle high student traffic, particularly during exam seasons
• Select and justify technology choices balancing performance, cost, and compliance
• Research and compare technologies to build a cost-effective, high-performance stack
• Produce stack justification documents with TCO estimates and performance benchmarks
• Lead full-stack development using selected technologies
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting
• Monitor usage and performance metrics, and recommend optimizations
• Negotiate with service providers and manage cloud and API spending
• Define technical hiring criteria and participate in interviews and onboarding
• Mentor contractors or interns, champion code quality, peer reviews, and documentation
• Collaborate with curriculum experts, UX, and Product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Iterate features based on user feedback and cost-benefit analysis
