Bachelor or master's degree, Experience in Collection for mid market/corporate

Required Skills & Competencies

Key Responsibilities:

Key Result Areas

Supporting Actions

Timely, accurate and value-added submission of information

  • Submission of accurate monthly MIS pack to stakeholders within timelines
  • Monthly performance update deck to senior management highlighting exceptions and providing lead and lag indicators
  • Delivery of quarterly business review presentations encompassing update on all financial & non-financial KPIs
  • Review processes to ensure data integrity & accuracy of financial, cost & management accounting & reporting

Financial Planning

To develop the Three year rolling & annual Operational plan in line with the shareholder objectives

  • Drive the annual operating and business plan cycle process in close consultation with business & functional heads
  • Have discussions with sales and operating functions to ensure major KPIs are captured
  • Track rigorously the above on an ongoing basis for timely highlighting deviations and work jointly for achieving desired Objectives

Provide Decision support to Business & Functions to help them achieve their objectives within Budgets

  • Review and discuss key performance drivers for various business & functions on a monthly / quarterly basis
  • Evaluate financial viability of the initiatives proposed by the departments.
  • Recommend alternatives to strike a balance between financial and business objectives.

Process Re-engineering and improvements

  • Re-design existing processes and deliver efficiency and productivity saves on the same.
  • Simplify reporting through automation
  • Implement industry best practices

To build an excellent team and focus on developing back-ups

  • To provide oversight and guidance to the team in their learning journey
  • To ensure proper back-ups are created within the team for all activities.

Self-Development

  • Improving understanding of overall business for ABFL, better understanding of accounting principles, create better engagement with stakeholders internal as well as external
