The Finance organization partners across General Mills to provide financial expertise to guide and govern the company. Purpose of the role
The General Mills Financial Systems Integration (FSI) team oversees a global financial systems, data and process ecosystem that enables business growth and evolution, with uncompromising fiduciary integrity. The agile & experienced team governs systems and data, leads close and consolidation processes and provides strategic guidance on key enterprise and portfolio shaping initiatives.
General Mills is in the process of transitioning our global close & consolidation platform from HFM to the OneStream platform. We are seeking a motivated individual to assist in building, sustaining and optimizing this new core platform. The Global Consolidation Administrator (OneStream) will report to the Global Consolidation Steward and oversee the administration and day-to-day support of the OneStream application. This role is integral to the Financial Systems Integration (FSI) Team and involves close collaboration with various members of the global finance and accounting organization across the company.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform primary administrator duties within OneStream application, including, but not limited to, entity hierarchies, rules, workflows, dashboards, and reporting views/packages.
- Develop and maintain various reporting solutions (OneStream Cube Views and Excel Add-in) as needed by Accounting and other Finance
- teams.
- Create, maintain, and update financial reports and forms and perform training and end-user education of the system functionality, as needed
- Troubleshoot and partner with D&T resources on technical issues related to the OneStream system.
- Support integrations and data quality processes (validations, mappings, transformations, confirmations) from source systems (SAP, other) in OneStream.
- Partner with SOX team to ensure internal control governance (including SOX requirements), documentation and coordination with internal and external auditors as it relates to system access and change management.
- Provide support for users and maintain system protocols in troubleshooting data validation, access, and reporting issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Consolidation system administration, specifically in OneStream, with experience in Hyperion HFM is a plus
- Strong documentation and communication skills, to support interaction with Finance customers and IT partners
- A strong background in accounting and finance
- Detail oriented, highly accurate, and conscientious with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
