Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage and develop team members focused on production analysis and investigation
- Set standards for technical triage, reproducibility, evidence quality, and written findings
- Review investigation outcomes to ensure conclusions are sound, wellsupported, and actionable
- Guide prioritization and focus in collaboration with project coordination and stakeholders
- Partner with engineering, product, and operations leaders to align on expectations and escalation paths
- Identify systemic issues surfaced through investigations and advocate for longerterm improvements
Knowledge & Application
- Strong experience working within a complex, interconnected production system that includes .NETbased applications, SQL databases, legacy components, and web services
- Strong experience reading and reasoning about existing production code and data flows
- Deep understanding of how complex, longlived systems behave in production
- Ability to coach others in investigation techniques, hypothesis testing, and evidencebased conclusions
Complexity & Problem Solving
- Balances multiple competing priorities while maintaining investigation quality
- Exercises judgment in ambiguous situations, including determining when work is complete, blocked, or requires escalation
Collaboration & Interaction
- Serves as the primary technical escalation point for investigation outcomes
- Communicates clearly with senior stakeholders about findings, risks, and recommendations
- Builds a team culture that values curiosity, rigor, and learning

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 610 years of experience in software engineering, production support, or systems analysis roles
- Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers in a technical capacity
